\"\"The Davao Bloggers Society<\/strong> (DBS), in partnership with foodpanda<\/strong>, HONOR Philippines<\/strong>, and Ripple8<\/strong>, recently joined forces to bring comfort and essential aid to families affected by the recent 7.6 magnitude earthquake in the Davao region.<\/p>\n

The initiative, led by the Davao Bloggers Society, aimed to provide immediate relief to residents of Manay, Davao Oriental<\/strong>, one of the hardest-hit towns in the Davao Region. With the help of foodpanda, HONOR Ph, and Ripple8, the organization was able to gather and deliver two batches of donations consisting of 30 boxes of drinkable water, hygiene essentials such as sanitary pads, alcohol, soap, and shampoo, as well as 50 boxes of multivitamins to support the survivors\u2019 recovery and health.<\/p>\n

The donations were turned over to the Metro Davao United Fire and Rescue Inc.<\/strong>, as they took charge of transporting all relief goods from Davao City to Manay, Davao Oriental.<\/p>\n

Even weeks after the quake, many families in Manay continue to face difficult conditions. Running water has yet to be restored, forcing residents to rely on donations or nearby streams for their daily needs. Power supply remains unstable, with electricity lasting only about 30 minutes a day, and communication signals are still limited.<\/p>\n

\"\"\u201cLearning about Manay\u2019s situation moved us to take action, and we are very grateful to our partners, foodpanda, HONOR Ph, and Ripple8, for stepping up and helping us make this possible. Every contribution counts, especially when our fellow Mindanawons are struggling to rebuild<\/em>,\u201d said Gem Tadefa<\/strong>, the incumbent President <\/strong>of the Davao Bloggers Society<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Community organizations and private companies can come together to make a meaningful impact in times of crisis. For foodpanda, HONOR Ph, and Ripple8, the donation reflects their ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility and caring for communities.<\/p>\n
