Five research papers from the students of Puerto Princesa City National Science High School (PPCNSHS) have been selected to participate in the prestigious 14th Search for Young Scientists (SSYS). The competition is organized by the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organisation Regional Centre for Education in Science and Mathematics (SEAMEO RECSAM) and will be held in Penang, Malaysia from February 9 to 12.
This marks the first time a school from Palawan has qualified for the said competition. Because of this, the school administration, led by Principal Daniel Lebante, is already starting to raise funds to support the attendance of the qualified students and their coaches.
