1. Gavin’s Kitchen + Bar: International Flavors with a Local Twist
Opened in 2022, this popular al fresco restaurant is a hit among tourists, locals, and visitors alike. It was founded by Chef Dino Canlas, who previously worked at El Nido Resorts and cruise ships before falling in love with Coron and setting up his business.
They are known for their gourmet hamburgers (made with imported US Grade beef), pasta, pizza, and sisig. Notably, they are the only spot in all of Coron that serves Kebab meals.

2. Mama Coco: Trendy Foods and Drinks
Opened in July, this trending café was established by Mercedes “Cedes” Ortega Aruejo, a foodie from Pasay who originally visited Coron just to dive. She ended up staying and opening her dream café on San Pedro Street, Barangay 3. The name is a tribute to her partner’s grandmother, whose heirloom recipes inspired their original ice cream.
Their must-try drinks include the Dubai Chewy Smoothie, Coconut Cloud Drinks, and Vietnamese Coffee selections. For food, they offer a wide array of options like Charlie Chan pasta, Pinoy Spaghetti, Seafood Palabok, Matcha Toast with Coconut Ice Cream, Shrimp Paella, and Mango Coco Sticky Rice. Dine-in and take-out options are available.

3. Santino’s Grill: Legendary Ribs
A trip to Coron is simply incomplete without eating at Santino’s Grill. For over 15 years, they have maintained the exact same incredible taste, texture, and quality of their signature dishes. Tip: Reservations are a must because long lines (“pila balde”) are guaranteed. Plus, they are moving to a brand-new location with new offerings this October!
Their famous Baby Back Ribs, Boneless Chicken Inasal, Shrimp Tempura Spring Rolls, Bulalo, and Ensaladang Talong na may Mangga (Eggplant and Mango Salad) are all highly recommended across the board.
4. Khadoi’s Chaolong: Authentic Vietnamese Flavors
Operating for four years now, this spot brings genuine Vietnamese street food vibes to Coron. If you are looking for authentic pho (locally known as chaolong), this is the place to be, and the hype is entirely real.
Must-try items include their Beef Stew, Pancit Chaolong, and Bánh Mì.

5. Kusina Leticia: Comfort Filipino Cuisine with a Twist
A must-visit restaurant specializing in traditional Filipino comfort food with Spanish and Chinese influences. They can comfortably accommodate up to 60 guests and feature a function room for small meetings. They also sell homemade bagoong (shrimp paste) that you can buy and take home.
Standout dishes include their Adobong Pusit (cooked rich in natural squid ink) and rich Kare-Kare.
