The Beach Bus El Nido was officially launched last May 2, at the Weekend Resort in Brgy. Corong-Corong in El Nido, Palawan.
Ashok Leyland, the Bulacan-based bus manufacturer, formally turned over 10 bus units specifically designed for operations in El Nido.
The beach bus has become a popular commuting option for tourists, visitors, and locals alike. It regularly travels between Vanilla Beach, Corong-Corong, Town Square, Lio Beach, Nacpan, and Duli Beach from 6:00 AM until midnight. They began operations in March of this year.
The program was attended by Taytay Bishop Broderick Pabillo, who led the blessing of the buses, and former Catanduanes Governor Joseph Cua.
