SAN VICENTE, PALAWAN — The hospitality landscape of San Vicente officially reached a new milestone last March 5, with the grand opening of The Hotel Elizabeth Resort and Villas. The property stands as the newest, largest, and first-ever 4-star resort hotel in the municipality.
Grand Opening Ceremony
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by a prestigious lineup of guests, signaling the project’s importance to local tourism. Key dignitaries in attendance included Palawan Governor Amy Alvarez, 2nd District Congressman Jose Ch. Alvarez, and DOT MIMAROPA Regional Director Roberto Alabado III. They were joined by the Salonga and Fernando families along with other close relatives. Other celebrities spotted includes Theater luminaries Robert Seña and Isay Alvarez, plus Fashion Designer Renee Salud.

A Five-Year Vision Realized
Spanning four hectares along the pristine shoreline of San Vicente’s famous Long Beach, the resort was five years in the making. The expansive beachfront property features 113 rooms and luxury villas, two swimming pools, a fully-equipped gym, and the signature Flora Resto.
Expanding the Portfolio
The Hotel Elizabeth Resort and Villas is the latest addition to the hospitality portfolio of the Fersal Hotel Group. It joins established Hotel Elizabeth branches in Cebu and Baguio, further strengthening a network that includes six Fersal Hotel branches operating nationwide. The opening is expected to significantly boost high-end tourism in San Vicente, offering premium accommodations to travelers visiting the world-renowned Long Beach.
